When we had the old iPhone with a mini plug, all you had to do was plug your mic into the phone and it worked.

But with the X or higher, and the lightning input, this is no longer the case.

Even with a mini to lightning adapter, you won't be able to access the radio mic

But here's a really neat, really simple work around and it only costs $8 for the gear
