The iPhone has one of the best cameras on the smartphone market.  Everyone knows that you can take beautiful photos and shoot broadcast quality video with it, but just how good is it?  That's exactly what the people at PetaPixel and photographer Shin Noguchi wanted to know.  In order to figure out just how good the camera was compared to professional photo equipment, Noguchi did a side by side photo test with the new iPhone 7 and the Leica M9-P.

Bad News, Good News

The old news mantra — if it bleeds, it leads has been replaced by if it’s gross, adios. The prospect of a news-free electorate is terrifying.

The news business is in trouble. In the past decade, more than 2400 local newspapers have closed. NBC Nightly News gets 5 million viewers per night, in a nation of 340 million people, so most people are not watching. What are they watching? Netflix.
