Oh, the power of editing.

Today's video of the day is a fan-made feature length movie version of Breaking Bad. The feature uses exisiting footage from the series re-edited to make a two-hour movie.

This is a good example of how good storytelling techniques pretty much stay the same no matter if you are making a 62-episode TV series in 45 minute installments, a two hour movie, or even a one-minute video, the principles of storytelling remain the same.

When we run our video storytelling bootcamps for TV news organizations, our primary focus is on what we call ‘the viewer experience’.
